Things sure have changed since my wedding day, especially the fantastic accessories and reception supplies available. When I started browsing the internet I found so many beautiful wedding and reception accessories for almost any type of wedding you could imagine. If you want a beach party wedding you can find beach party accessories like beautiful little seashells and starfish, just to name a couple. Just researching you could find great ideas for a summer or spring wedding. You could get beautiful new wedding accessories for all 4 seasons. I know the winter wonderland wedding supplies were absolutely exquisite with that gorgeous sparkle of the winter season. I actually heard that some brides and grooms have an outside winter wedding. I thought to myself having a winter wedding outside would be gorgeous in one sense, and a little weird in the other, not to mention how cold it would be. If I were planning a wedding it would have to be indoors and not outside in the cold. Maybe a ski resort would be a good place for a winter wedding, with all the fireplaces and cozy winter atmosphere.
Autumn is a beautiful time of the year and my favorite, and it would be a great time to have a wedding. With all the gorgeous colors and the pumpkins, gourds and just the fresh clean smell in the air, the fall season seems to me to be the best season for a wedding. When I was married many years ago the only options you had was a church wedding or a county building to get married. Now there are so many different types of weddings you can really have your ceremony exactly the way you want to. There are even destination weddings, where you have a few close friends and family go along to the location of your choice for you ceremony. Everybody probably feels like they’re eploping too. You can find a new wedding for all your wedding planning from a customary wedding to an out of town wedding
Soon my daughter will be getting married and I have been helping her to prepare for her country western wedding and reception. When she told me her idea for the wedding, I thought oh boy this is going to be one weird wedding, but as we were planning it I saw how awesome it was going to be. She found cake toppers that have a western theme to them, plus everything she needed for her bridal table, including western champagne flutes. They’re really quite unique looking. To make the atmosphere more western she put some hay bales, set up barbecue grills around and even hired a country western band. For the reception, she is going to put lights and lanterns all over. She bought cute little cowboy hats to use as place card holders and added wildflowers in little watering cans as the centerpieces. They’ve arranged to rent a dude ranch for this event, which really surprised me, because, I didn’t know you could even do that. Many of the wedding decorations that she ordered online are a great match for her country western wedding. She ordered delightful new wedding invitations for all their friends and family and cowboy hats for the bride and groom.
Instead of a normal reception it is looking more like a family get together that has hayrides and outdoor grills. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. They even planned to have some country western line dancing in the barn. Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. This is going to be a wedding to remember and will be talked about for years to come. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.
