When my best friend informed me of a online shopping store for wedding accessories and supplies that could save us a little on the wedding expenses, I thought I’d give it a try. It’s true, reasonable prices and many accessories to choose from starting with wedding invitations right down to wedding favor gifts. I was surprised at all the great groomsmen gifts and bridemaids gifts they carry, as well as so many styles of wedding accessories for both ceremonies and receptions. Needless to say, that’s where I did all my shopping for the wedding decorations and supplies.
Since we had planned our wedding date to be in December, I wanted to have a winter wonderland wedding and reception and this was the perfect place to get what I needed for it. I ordered very decorative winter wedding bulletins to send out as invitations. While I was browsing through the flower basket and ring pillow selection, I discovered a great deal on a five piece set with a wedding guest book and pen, wedding garter and the flower girl basket and ring pillow. Not only did each piece match, but the price was more than reasonable. I know, after reading a few wedding articles, that many churches won’t allow the tossing of petals for the bride and grooms departure and many couples have chosen bubbles to be blown as they exit the ceremony. So I checked out this online shopping site and found bottles of bubbles with lovely little bubble cards to go with them for our ceremony.
You should see all the accessories I was able to get for our reception. I bought all the gifts for the entire wedding party from there, including gifts for the bridesmaids, flower girl and ring boy. My fiance was happy that they had so many cool groomsmen wedding gifts ideas for him to choose from.
A mug was the choice for the groomsman favors that he choice and each mug said groomsman on it. Now we had a groomsmen gift idea, gifts for my bridesmaids and everyone that was in our ceremony, so now, I needed to concentrate on what to buy for our guests. I had quite a selection of winter themed gifts to pick from for our guests at the reception. I decided on these really beautiful winter frosted glass votive candles for our friends and family as their thank you gifts. Each candle had nice little silver snowflakes around it. Every candle was packaged in a decorative favor box with a silver hang tag on them.
I also bought place card holders that look like snowy tree ornaments that can be used as an extra little favor for our guests. I found champagne flutes, cake knife set, and the most adorable whimsical wedding cake topper for a winter wonderland wedding. Since the cake topper I chose was one with the bride and groom on skis, I decided to make it look authentic by having the baker design the top layer of our cake as a mountain of snow. The cake really turned out nice and I made sure there were lots of pictures of it for my gorgeous winter wonderland wedding album. We cut our cake and shared the first piece, then my brother in law gave a little speech as he toasted to the bride and groom, and then it was time for us to have our first dance of the evening. This was like a dream come true, dancing around the room with my new husband as everyone watched.
This reception was perfect, from the beginning to the end and all of our guests truly seemed to be enjoying themselves. All of my girls in the wedding party loved their thank you gifts as did the guys and their wedding groomsmen gifts. Some of our friends and family expressed how much they really liked the thank you gifts they received and told us what a spectacular wedding and reception we had.
