When you’re looking for a wedding party favor…

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

It took me a while before I could decide on a theme for our ceremony and reception party. I checked on three different themes, beach, garden and country western. But on the other hand there is a lot to be said for tradition. I also thought about a fantastic destination wedding. How great would it be to have a ceremony and reception in Las Vegas, or maybe take it all the way to Hawaii? The islands of Hawaii would definitely be my first choice. But then I thought about all the people that would be disappointed that they couldn’t be there, and I had to toss that idea in the dumpster.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in the summer months, I didn’t think I should go with a snow scene. So I decided to go with every young girls dream of marrying a prince, and chose to have a storybook wedding, just like in the fairy tales I read as a child. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. The bakery even had wedding cakes that worked out with my idea. So I finally made up my mind. Cinderella and Prince Charming were getting married.
I went online and found fairy tale invitations that I could send out. There were also plenty of accessories and supplies to pick out for my storybook wedding. My wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous and the bridesmaids and flower girl had beautiful dresses that were floor length. The groom (my prince) and all of the groomsmen and ring boy wore tuxes that made them all look so elegant and sophisticated. I could feel all eyes on me as I walked down the aisle, and half way expected them to bow to their new queen. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding ceremony. All of the gorgeous décor only added to the beauty of our ceremony. As we were leaving the church, everyone tossed rose petals and cheered us on. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.
There were accessories that helped me to make our reception appear as elegant as a king’s castle. I had no problem when it came to the decorations or the wonderful wedding favors I had for our guests. I even found adorable boxes for each and every wedding gift. There were so many accessories to choose from to help with our storybook reception. I bought little coaches that made perfect place card holders, and exquisite champagne flutes with a storybook design. They had everything imaginable for a storybook wedding and reception.
Everyone had a fabulous time and I received a lot of compliments on the décor. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. If I do say so myself, it was quite spectacular. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. Everything from our wedding cake topper to the cheap wedding favors for our friends and family went with our storybook theme. I wanted our guests to leave with something that would remind them of this special day. Something that could hold the memory of today for them as well as for us.
I had a lot of thank you note to take care of when we got back from our honeymoon. There was even thank you notes available in storybook theme. I wonder if we could do this again for our anniversary?

Affordable but Wonderful Wedding Party Invitations

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

The first thing I did when I decided to give my girlfriend a bridal shower was to put together a list of everything I was going to need for thte shower. Goal number one was finding a graduation party invitation. I checked out what the Internet had to offer because I don’t really like the hassle of shopping from store to store. That was the right thing to do. The options I had were staggering, and the cost was very low. I even got a few items at a great discount price. The bridal shower invitations were really nice with silver writing on the front and pearl embossed borders. They had all kinds of invitation cards, from general party invitations to specific ones, like bachelorette party invitations.
I found some darling place card holders for the party as well, among other things. Another item I picked out for the bride was a sign-in book for guests so that she could keep track of who gave her what gifts easily. A particular design for a place card holder struck me as being really neat. They had these little plastic handbags that I filled with colorful little candies and found place cards with pink lilies printed on them. When placed on the tables at the shower alongside the gifts and things, they looked cool There’s no type of party that doesn’t have a gift box designed for it. The boxes I selected had floral designs, and I piled them neatly on a cake platter and set them on the table with all the presents. It looked very decorative like that and each lady just took a gift from the plate. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. I found some random things to hand out as awards, such as unique key rings, little vanity mirrors, and special soaps.
Party game suggestions abound on the Internet. There was a real funny one called ‘Take It Off ‘ where everyone puts a paper bag over their heads and then the hostess tells everyone to remove one article, and you’d be surprised how many ladies don’t think to remove the bag. That is a funny experience you’ll never forget. There are other mirthful games that we did, like bridal bingo. Deciding to surf the web was an excellent thing to do since I saw all kinds of things I could use and a good portion of them were very affordable. I made out alright purchasing my favors and invitations from them. The things I purchased were well made, and I spent a lot whole less than I thought I would have to, and had a whole lot more choices. Since the website also sold wedding invitations and favors, I let my friend who was about to get married know about it, since I was sure she could use a wide selection to pick from. She’ll have a lot of options when she uses this site, and it will save her a pretty penny, which all newlyweds need. I know it helped to make this bridal shower a success. The bridal shower was a sensation, and everyone there liked their shower favors, too. The last thing to do is to send them all thank yous for being a guest at the shower. The thank you cards, as you might expect, were purchased on the net as well. With all the web has to offer, I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party.

Curious about Wedding Bells Favors…

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

There was the sound of wedding bells, the tossing of rose petals, and the traditional run for the limo while friends and family cheered us on. That was the type of wedding ceremony we had. There was such a wonderful collection of accessories to help plan our wedding and make our ceremony so perfect. There was everything for to pull off the perfect wedding ceremony and reception.

From the wedding invitations to the wedding favors for our guests, they had everything. Our invitations were quite lovely with the silver printing on the front. I also ordered from this fantastic choice of accesssories, the ring bearer pillow and flower girl basket, which came as a set. It was actually more than the basket and pillow, it also had my wedding garter, guest book and pen set, in a gorgeous rich garnet. All five pieces of wedding accessories at a very reasonable price.

I also picked out an aisle runner along with other accessories for our wedding. The process of selecting wedding bell decoration was really a great one. All the little bells were ringing at the end of the ceremony, as we made our way to the limo. I thought that was a great idea.

I didn’t just order things for my ceremony, I also ordered everything I needed for our reception too. There was a marvelous selection of reception accessories to pick from. I wanted to make our reception tables sparkle, so I ordered as much crystal as I could get away with, starting with crystal champagne flutes. I ordered special flutes for us that said bride and groom on them, and beautiful twisted stemmed flutes for all of our guests. As an extra wedding favor for our friends and family I decided to choose wedding bells favors.

I could have bought every gorgeous item they had on their list, but I think I would have been overdoing it just a little. I did order some very nice wedding favors for our guests that were lovely glass table coasters. Each set of coasters had a special calla lilie design. I also chose these very elegant looking favor boxes with a little thank you tag on them, for the wedding favors. The silver favor boxes, along with all the other accessories on the tables, really added to the décor. On each reception table was a centerpiece I made up of lovely flowers and some very elegant candles.

On a smaller table at the of our long table, was our fantastically designed wedding cake. Three tiers of luscious chocolate and cherries with a gorgeous wedding cake topper as the crowning glory. I really fell in love with the cake topper I bought, with it’s attractive little ribbon made into a bow at the bottom of the heart with calla lilies added. The reception was fantastic, as was the wedding ceremony. I had to go back online where I bought our wedding album and puchase a second album for all the pictures that were taken at the wedding and reception. There were so many shots of us with our wedding cake and the traditional cutting and sharing of the very first piece. I have pictures of our friends and family, the ring boy and flower girl on the dance floor together and our first dance as husband and wife.

The compliments I got from our guests on our wedding décor was really nice, but it really made me feel good to know that they all had such a great time. Someday I’d like to have a renewal ceremony and reception for our anniversary and thank goodness, my husband agrees.

Curious about Wedding Bells Favors…

You could hear the wedding bells ring as we headed for our limo, with our guests yelling their good wishes and tossing rose petals our way. That’s how it was on our wedding day. The wedding ceremony was so beautiful and everything turned out just like I wanted it, thanks to all the super accessories I was able to get. With all the exceptional accessories and supplies at my disposal there was no way this wedding and reception wouldn’t be a success.

Everything from the lovely invitations to the fantastic party favors for our guests was in their wonderful collection of wedding supplies. Our invitations were quite lovely with the silver printing on the front. I also ordered from this fantastic choice of accesssories, the ring bearer pillow and flower girl basket, which came as a set. It was a beautiful satin garnet color and included a wedding guest book, pen set and wedding garter. All five pieces of wedding accessories at a very reasonable price.

They also had an aisle runner I really liked, so I ordered that to my list of wedding supplies. The process of selecting bell wedding was really a great one. After we were pronounced man and wife, everyone at the ceremony rang their little bells as we walked back down the aisle. I thought that was a great idea.

I bought accessories online for our reception as well as our ceremony. There was a marvelous selection of reception accessories to pick from. I wanted our reception tables to shine with elegance, so the first thing I ordered were the crystal toasting flutes. I ordered special flutes for us that said bride and groom on them, and beautiful twisted stemmed flutes for all of our guests. As an extra wedding favor for our friends and family I decided to choose bell weddings.

There were so many lovely accessories, that I really wanted to buy them all, but that would have been going a little overboard on the décor. We gave out glass coasters as wedding favors for our friends and family. Each set of coasters had a special calla lilie design. I found the perfect little silver favor boxes with thank you tags to package the wedding favors in. The silver favor boxes, along with all the other accessories on the tables, really added to the décor. I purchased flowers and ordered some beautiful candles to make into our centerpieces for the reception tables.

The wedding cake we had set up at the end of the reception hall was really spectacular. Chocolate and cherries three tiers high with a very lovely cake topper resting on top. I decided on a beautiful heart with calla lilies and ribbon as our cake topper. The reception was fantastic, as was the wedding ceremony. We had so many photos of the wedding ceremony and reception that I went back online and ordered a second wedding photo album. There were several pictures of us cutting the wedding cake and feeding that first piece to each other. I have pictures of our friends and family, the ring boy and flower girl on the dance floor together and our first dance as husband and wife.

The compliments I got from our guests on our wedding décor was really nice, but it really made me feel good to know that they all had such a great time. I plan on having another wedding ceremony and reception for our anniversary one year and I was so glad to hear that my wonderful husband thinks that’s a fantastic idea.

Do your research before choosing cheap wedding favors!

It took me a while before I could decide on a theme for our ceremony and reception party. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a beach wedding, a garden wedding or a country western wedding. But I also considered having a traditional wedding. Then I found out about destination weddings and that one got me thinking. How great would it be to have a ceremony and reception in Las Vegas, or maybe take it all the way to Hawaii? I would love a tropical island wedding. I soon put that idea to rest, there are too many people on our guestlist for a wedding like that.
Then I thought about a winter themed wedding. But since we were getting married in the summer months, I didn’t think I should go with a snow scene. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. There were even special wedding cakes you could buy that fit in perfectly with the theme. So this was final. I wanted a fairy tale wedding and reception.
I had no problem finding the perfect wedding invitations online. There were also plenty of accessories and supplies to pick out for my storybook wedding. I picked out floor length dresses for the girls in my wedding party, and found an exquisite gown for myself. The groom (my prince) and all of the groomsmen and ring boy wore tuxes that made them all look so elegant and sophisticated. When I walked down the aisle towards my husband to be I really felt like I was royalty. Our wedding ceremony was more beautiful than I could have hoped for. The accessories I bought added so much glamour and style to our storybook wedding. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. Outside we climbed into a gorgeous horse drawn carriage to take us to the reception hall.
There were accessories that helped me to make our reception appear as elegant as a king’s castle. I found everything to fit the ocassion from decorations to wedding favors. I had every wedding favor done up in storybook themed favor boxes. There were so many accessories to choose from to help with our storybook reception. I decided on little coaches for place card holders and the gorgeous place card holders that looked just like Cinderella coach. They just have everything I could possibly need for the perfect fairy tale wedding and reception.
Our guests all had a wonderful time and were very impressed with all the lovely storybook décor. A friend of ours told us it was the most fantastic dream wedding she’s ever seen. I have to admit, it was quite special. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. I wanted today to be as special for our guests as it was for me and my new husband. I made sure their wedding gifts were of a storybook theme, just like our wedding cake and other accessories. I wanted our guests to leave with something that would remind them of this special day. A special something to remind them of sharing this very special ceremony with us.
As soon as we returned from our honeymoon, I got started on all the thank you notes I needed to mail out. Believe it or not, I was able to get thank you notes with a fairytale theme. Maybe on our 20th anniversary we can do this again.

Making the right choice when it comes to wedding gifts

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

I debated a long time before deciding on what type of wedding ceremony and reception I wanted to have. I checked on three different themes, beach, garden and country western. But on the other hand there is a lot to be said for tradition. I also thought about a fantastic destination wedding. I soon put that idea to rest, there are too many people on our guestlist for a wedding like that.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in July, that just didn’t seem appropriate. So I decided to go with every young girls dream of marrying a prince, and chose to have a storybook wedding, just like in the fairy tales I read as a child. There were so many accessories and reception supplies to help with my fantasty wedding. There were even special wedding cakes you could buy that fit in perfectly with the theme. So my decision was made. We can declare a royal wedding.
I had no problem finding the perfect wedding invitations online. Then I started choosing my wedding and reception accessories and supplies. My wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous and the bridesmaids and flower girl had beautiful dresses that were floor length. My handsome fiance and all of his wedding party looked so elegant in their tuxes, even the little ring boy looked like royalty. As I made my way down the aisle to my handsome prince Charming I felt like I was living a dream. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. All of the gorgeous décor only added to the beauty of our ceremony. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. We were driven to the reception in a horse drawn carriage, just like royalty.
There were accessories that helped me to make our reception appear as elegant as a king’s castle. I found everything to fit the ocassion from decorations to wedding favors. I even found adorable boxes for each and every wedding reception favor. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. They just have everything I could possibly need for the perfect fairy tale wedding and reception.

I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. I made sure their wedding favor ideas were of a storybook theme, just like our wedding cake and other accessories. I wanted to give our guests more than just favors, that’s why I chose gifts that could also be used as souvenirs. Something that could hold the memory of today for them as well as for us.
After the honeymoon was over, there was the job of filling out thank you notes for all of our guests. Would you believe I even found fairytale thank you notes for everyone? I wouldn’t mind having a fairytale anniversary renewal ceremony.

Wedding Toasting Flutes to Match Any Theme!

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. More than enough products are available to help fulfill any bride’s wish for a wedding with a winter genre. If you’re going with any kind of themed ceremony or reception at all, you will find loads of alternatives to pick from when you get around to shopping for gifts, invitations, and other products you’ll need. Our wedding ceremony color scheme was in silver and wintery blue. Our altar had replica snowflakes next to the unity candle and other candles, which all had a wintry look to them. The ceremony had a lovely, pristine look to it.
At the reception we had white tablecloths with red table runners on each and every reception table there. I had beautiful white orchids in gorgeous silver vases for our centerpieces and they went so well with the winter décor. As for our place card holders I found the most lovely snowball ornament card holders for our reception. Whether we use them as ornaments or place card holders, they look fabulous, and they can be used for either. As wedding thank you gifts for our friends and family we decided on these lovely toasting flutes and little novelty champagne bottles favors with bubbles. If you’re looking for a wonderful way to say thank you, champagne flutes do the trick. When you looked at our reception tables, all you could think of was the pristine majesty of the wintertime. The wedding cake topper we picked out was a snowflake made of porcelain, and our three-layered wedding cake sat atop a cake stand that was shaped like a sleigh. I picked out the cake serving set on the net, and it had wintery designs on it, too. There was an icy blue shade to the handles which was accentuated with white snowflakes. It fit in seamlessly with the pen and guestbook set I had purchased.
The artwork on the the cake serving utensils and the guestbook was identical to that on the wedding flute, and they all looked brilliant. They had the little snowflakes and were done in white and icy blue colors and were really exquisite with all the other winter themed accessories on our wedding table. Our reception guests loved the place card holders and other gifts that they received, and the look of the tables was to die for. We got our flower girl a necklace and we we let her keep the small crown she wore in the ceremony, and she was pleased with both of them. We got a ring boy tee shirt and a stainless steel yo-yo for our ring bearer, and he thought that was really neat. I got my maid of honor a bracelet made of crystal, and all of my bridesmaids received tank tops with their names written on them in small crystals. My fiance took care of shopping for the guys. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. I think everyone was really happy with the thank you favors they received and I think they all had a great time at the reception.
The array of wedding materials I found on the net made our ceremony and reception a dream come true, for both of us. The prices that we found on the Internet were so good that we saved a significant amount of money by looking there. It wasn’t just wedding items, either; I got plenty of things for the honeymoon as well. We got a ‘Do Not Disturb’ pillow to hang on our doorknob, along with hats and shirts for newlyweds. We got plenty of use out of that pillow.
